For agencies and freelancers with shop clients

An AI assistant for the shops and brands you manage

Online shops, small brands, makers and local shops get the same questions all day: is it in stock, which size, what is it made of, can I pick it up. Give each shop an assistant that answers from its own product list, sends a link to order and keeps the customer posted in the same chat. You set it up and run it as part of your service.

The problem

Ready to buy, still waiting for an answer

Someone sees a post, asks about a size and waits. The owner is packing orders or serving at the counter, and by the time they reply, the customer has moved on. After an order, the same person writes again to ask where it is.

The assistant answers straight away from the shop's product list and knowledge base, and says so when something is sold out. When the customer is ready, it sends a personal link to the shop page, and the order lands in the same conversation. Payment goes to the shop's own account, and order updates arrive in the chat.

What it does

What the assistant does for a shop

Answers from the product list

Sizes, materials, colours and stock come from the product descriptions and the knowledge base, and the assistant knows what is sold out. For a shop with a counter it gives the opening hours and directions. A question it can't answer goes to your inbox.

Orders in the chat and on the shop page

The assistant sends a short list and a personal link to the shop page, and the order lands in the same conversation. Pickup, delivery or both, as the shop chooses.

Online payment, straight to the shop

Customers pay through the shop's own Stripe, WayForPay or monobank account, and the money goes straight to the shop. Card details never reach InstaForge. Without a payment account, orders are paid on collection or delivery.

Order updates in the same chat

Paid, ready to collect or on its way, delivered: the customer hears about it in the chat where they ordered, so nobody has to ask where their order is.

Comment a keyword, get a DM

A keyword in a comment on the posts you choose sends that person one private message. A short public reply under the comment can go with it.

One follow-up, no chasing

People who asked about prices and went quiet get one friendly message, and the team gets an alert before Instagram's 24-hour window closes. It stays off until you switch it on.

  1. Customer: Hi! Do you still have the oatmeal cardigan in M? What is it made of?
  2. Assistant: Hi Lena! Yes, the Oatmeal cardigan is in stock in M. It's knitted from merino wool, hand wash only. The price is on its page in the shop.
  3. Customer: Can I pick it up on Saturday?
  4. Assistant: Of course, choose pickup when you order. On Saturday the workshop on Linden Street is open from 11:00 to 16:00. Here's your personal link to the shop, and you can pay there too.
  5. Customer: Ordered and paid!
  6. Assistant: Thank you, Lena! Order #14 is paid. I'll message you here as soon as it's ready to collect.

FAQ

Questions about assistants for shops

Where do its answers about products come from?

From the shop's product list: names, descriptions, prices and stock, plus the knowledge base. When something is sold out, it says so. It doesn't make up what isn't there: the question goes to your inbox.

How do customers order?

The assistant sends a personal link to the shop page, and the order lands in the same conversation. The same page works in the Instagram bio or on a website, where the customer leaves a name and phone. The shop chooses pickup, delivery or both.

How are orders paid?

Online, through the shop's own Stripe, WayForPay or monobank account: the money goes straight to the shop, and card details never reach InstaForge. Without a payment account connected, customers pay on collection or delivery.

Can it sell gift cards?

Yes. The customer picks a gift card in the chat and pays online when a payment account is connected. Each card has its own code, and the team takes the amount off when it is used.

How do comment campaigns work?

You choose the posts, or all of them, and a keyword. Everyone who writes it in a comment gets one private message, for example with a link to the new collection. A short public reply under the comment can go with it.

Can I offer it to shops under my own brand?

Yes. You set up and run each shop's assistant as part of your service and charge your own price. The shop owner signs in to their own portal to see chats and orders and can correct answers.

Other kinds of business

Own a salon, shop or café?

InstaForge is made for the people who run social media for businesses. If you'd like an assistant set up and run for you, an agency that works with InstaForge can do it.
