For agencies and freelancers with clinic clients

An AI assistant for the dental and medical clinics you manage

Dental practices, family clinics and specialist offices get questions about appointments, opening hours and preparation all day, and every word sent to a patient matters. Give each clinic an assistant that answers only from facts the clinic has approved, leaves medical questions to its staff and books consultations with the right doctor. You set it up and run it as part of your service.

The problem

Quick answers, careful words

Reception answers the phone, checks patients in and replies to messages in between. DMs wait for hours, and someone looking for a check-up books with another clinic. Handing that inbox to an ordinary chatbot is worse: one confident answer about a symptom or a dose is a risk no clinic wants to take.

The assistant replies straight away, only from the clinic's own approved facts, and books consultations with the doctor the patient chooses. Questions about symptoms or medication go to a person, with a short summary of the chat. You and the clinic check its answers before a change reaches patients.

What it does

What the assistant does for a clinic

Only facts the clinic approved

It answers from the clinic's knowledge base: services, doctors, opening hours, how to prepare and what to bring. FAQ entries, such as the cancellation terms, are sent word for word. A question it can't answer goes to your inbox instead of being guessed.

Rules for medical questions

Behaviour rules tell it not to diagnose or give medical advice, and pass questions about symptoms or medication to the team. Messages with words the clinic marks as urgent get a fixed reply the clinic wrote itself, for example to call the clinic or emergency services.

A person takes over, with a summary

When a patient asks for a person or a rule hands the chat over, the team gets an alert with a few lines on what the patient wants. A patient who sounds annoyed is handed over on their own, with an apology.

Consultations with a specific doctor

Each doctor has their own working hours. The assistant asks which service and which doctor, offers only times when that doctor is free for the whole appointment and sends a reminder before the visit. Patients can also book on the clinic's booking page.

Answers checked before patients see them

Every morning the assistant drafts answers to the questions it couldn't answer, and you or the clinic approve them in one tap. Answer tests run after every change, and a draft that fails them asks for confirmation before it goes live.

Privacy settings

The assistant can ask for consent before its first answer. When a patient asks in the chat to delete their data, their conversation and details are removed, and messages can be deleted on their own after the number of days you set.

Mintleaf Clinic
  1. Customer: Hi! A tooth on the lower left hurts when I drink something cold. Is that serious? I'm also overdue for a check-up.
  2. Assistant: Hi Anna! I can't tell what's causing it, a dentist needs to take a look. Dr Maya has a consultation with a check-up on Thursday at 9:30 or 16:00. Which suits you?
  3. Customer: 16:00 please. Can I take painkillers until then?
  4. Assistant: Booked: consultation and check-up with Dr Maya, Thursday at 16:00. I'll send you a reminder the day before. For the question about painkillers, I'm passing you to the clinic's team.
  5. Team: Hi Anna, this is Nora from the clinic. I'll check with Dr Maya and reply here shortly. If the pain gets much worse, call the clinic.

FAQ

Questions about assistants for clinics

Does it give medical advice?

No. Its rules tell it not to diagnose or give medical advice, and questions about symptoms or medication go to the clinic's team. It answers practical questions from the facts the clinic approved: services, doctors, opening hours, preparation and booking.

What happens with urgent messages?

The clinic chooses the words that count as urgent and writes the reply itself, for example to call the clinic or emergency services. The assistant sends that text as written, and the AI doesn't change it. Or the rule can hand such chats straight to the team instead.

Who sees the conversations?

Your team in the shared inbox, and the clinic owner in their own portal. Hand-off alerts with their short summary go to the app and, if you connect one, a Telegram chat. Messages can be deleted on their own after a set number of days, and a patient can ask for their data to be deleted at any time.

Can we check its answers before it goes live?

Yes. Try it in the test chat, add answer tests for the replies that must stay right, and turn on drafts: changes to settings and rules wait until you publish them. Patients keep getting the last published version in the meantime.

Does it ask patients for consent?

It can. With consent turned on, the assistant asks before its first answer and replies only once the patient agrees. If the patient says no, their conversation is deleted.

Can I offer it to clinics under my own brand?

Yes. You set up and run each clinic's assistant as part of your service and charge your own price. The clinic owner signs in to their own portal to see chats and bookings and can correct answers.
